Privacy policy

AB2V Services Pvt. Ltd is a recruitment and HR services company registered in India, with offices in Bengaluru and Bhubaneswar. In data protection terms we are the “Data Fiduciary” for the information described below — meaning we decide why and how it is used.

We only collect information you choose to give us through the forms on this site. We do not buy personal data, and we do not scrape it from other websites.

Please do not include sensitive details in your resume or messages that a recruiter does not need — for example your Aadhaar number, PAN, bank details, passwords, caste, religion, or health and medical information. We do not ask for any of these, and you should never send them to us.

We use what you give us to:

• Review your application and assess you against the role you applied for.
• Contact you about your application, or about other openings that match your profile.
• Share your profile with employers who have a relevant vacancy — see the next section.
• Respond to hiring requirements submitted by employers.
• Keep internal recruiter notes about the progress of your application.
• Meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not use it to send you marketing about unrelated products.

When you submit a form on this site, you are consenting to us handling your information as described in this policy. That is the basis on which we process it, alongside any processing we are required to carry out by law.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing archana@ab2v.com. If you do, we will stop considering you for roles and delete your details, except anything we are legally required to keep. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

We share personal information in three situations, and no others:

• Client employers. If your profile suits a vacancy, we share your resume and details with that employer so they can consider you. Once they have your details, that employer handles them under their own privacy policy, and we are no longer in control of what they do with them.
• Service providers who run this site for us. These are listed in the next section. They process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
• Legal requirements. If we are required to disclose information by law, by a court, or by a government authority entitled to demand it.

Form submissions and uploaded files are stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage), in Google's Mumbai region in India. This website is hosted by Netlify, which operates servers in several countries, so technical logs such as IP addresses may be processed outside India.

Uploaded resumes and job descriptions are not publicly accessible. They can only be opened by signed-in AB2V staff, and the links are not published anywhere on this website.

When we delete an application, the uploaded resume is deleted with it.

• All traffic to this site is encrypted with HTTPS.
• Applications, enquiries and uploaded files can only be read by signed-in AB2V staff. Access is enforced by server-side security rules, not just by hiding pages.
• Each staff member has their own account. Access is removed as soon as someone leaves.
• Uploads are limited to PDF and Word documents under 5 MB.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet is entirely safe. If a breach occurs that affects your information, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you and who we have shared it with.
• Correct anything that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
• Withdraw your consent, which stops us considering you for further roles.
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated.

To make a request, email archana@ab2v.com. We will respond within a reasonable period, and normally within 30 days. There is no charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

This website does not use advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics or tracking scripts. Fonts are served from this site rather than from an external provider.

Two things are worth knowing. Our contact page embeds a Google Maps frame to show our office locations — when it loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, governed by Google's privacy policy rather than ours. And if you are a member of AB2V staff signing in to the admin area, your browser stores a login session locally so you stay signed in.

This website and our services are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. If we make a significant change, we will take reasonable steps to tell you.
